Can you use hard line for nitrous bottle to solenoid?

Never did see an answer to this (asked in another
barely-related thread). I would like to use something
like brake line for an ultra-stealth dry nitrous setup
and totally avoid braided hose. I think steel brake line
ought to be good for the 1200-1500PSI range but
have not seen people using it. Is it up to the pressure?
Any reason why not to use?

You could, as long as noids aren't on the engine, as you probably know. It may be easier to use braided through interior places where multiple bends would be needed. Then jump to hard line once in egine bay. I assume bottle will be hidden so braid could start at bottle.

just remember to have some flex line somewhere to allow the egine to move in reference to the body. kind of the same reason coolant hoses are hoses, and not pipes. considering how long the line would be from the bottle to solenoid, the movement forces wouldn't be as drastic as a coolant line, but there is still the possibility for the line to break/kink due to engine movement.
