Default Colder Plugs

I have an LS2.

I have a 125 shot dry at the moment and have no problems on my stock plugs.

Is there a plug I can use that is gapped from the factory at .35?

Will running a colder plug hurt my all motor times? Will it slow down my engine? Give me less MPG?

I been running around 125 shot and the stock plugs are fine. I pulled them out and I could see alittle detontion. Everybody saying change them so I did. Gapped at .035, they are cheap so it no big deal. I'm redynoing for nos friday with the plug change the only thing diff na so will see what is does on my baseline.

The type and gap of N2O plugs have been covered more extensively than the Iraq war. Just install NGK (part #4133?) TR6 and gap at .035.

So will the part number 4177 work for an LS2?

My car runs smooth as always with TR6s gapped at .038. Haven't sprayed this car yet, but the bottle is scheduled to be filled this week/weekend.

Are the TR6's one step colder than the stock plugs or 2 steps? What's the effect of these on the engine while not spraying, which the engine spends of most of it's time at? Lost power?

Mine actually feels like it runs alittle better. Maybe the 55's were alittle worn, had around 15,000 to 20,000 miles. I'm sure its just me though.

Not for sure, but I think the TR6s are only one step colder. I didn't notice any difference in performance between the Bosch plugs I had in the car and the TR6s that I installed.

When I started spraying, I switched from NGK TR55IX iridium plugs to TR6IX iridiums. Motor times unaffected.

Why take a chance with detonation for the price of a set of plugs?

So should I gap at .035 or .038 for a 125 shot dry on an LS2?

Either gap should work fine.
