how does the 02+ ls6 cam like spray? should I go with the NOS 5177 kit for the safest route? i cant be breakin ****.

You'll be fine with a dry shot and that cam. When you pick a kit pick up a window switch and change out your spark plugs to a set of NGK TR6s. A fuel pressure safety switch won't hurt either. Take a look at our dry kits too:
