I was wondering if there was a way to hook up the nx without the relay? 40 bucks for a relay is crazy!!!

Always use a relay. Radio shack or walmart usually sells them for $5 or $10.

Radio Shack relay will work. Or if you want one with a wire harness we have a 40 amp one for $18.95.

I was told I need a 60 or higher amp relay. So a 40 or 30 will work?

I printed out the install manual from nx and in them it has a 60 amp relay as part of the gear. The only thing getting hooked up are the fuel, nos, and purge solenoids.

You wont need anthing larger than 30-40 amp. I was running a 40 amp relay with a 30 amp fuse on my DP kit that has 2 nitrous, 2 fuel, and 1 pruge solinoid with no problems at all.
