Default Let me know what you think

I use to have a wet system but got rid of it now i miss my nitrous. So i was thinking of doing a dual stage dry kit. I am up grading my fuel system with the ractronix fuel kit. So i think my fuel system should be fine. Do you think i need new injectors. I have an 00 Trans am M6. What would people recomend on jet sizes or horse power sizes for the two diffrent stages. I would like it to total around 200hp, is this too much for an all stock car.

if you have stock injectors, you defenately need to upgrade to larger injectors if you go dry. is the mods in your sig all you have besides the fuel system upgrade? do you have stock size rims? what suspension or rear end do you have? 200 extra hp + M6 + 10bolt= boom

I do have all stock suspension except for LCA. I was planing on getting a rear as soon as I have the money but i was hoping that as long as i don't leave real hard and hit nitrous after I am already moving that i would be ok.

Nitro Dave I would love for your help I just cant do anything to expensive. This is gonna be a hidden system so i think I'm gonna come up from underneath the air lid. and put all the solenoids under the passanger side head light. I also want the second stage to just be on a nother switch it doesn't have to kick on automatically I just want it to be there for when i need a little more. Also what size injectors would you recomend.

Also do i need to get my car tuned for the bigger injectors and nitrous. If any one knows a good LS1 shop around the philadelphia area with in an hour or so.

Thanks - Dan

Dan,
If you are going for stealth I can build you a dual stage Halo system. Now that will be trick...Yes you will need some tunning when going to the bigger injectors. I would suggest some svo30s. Or some racetronix/Delphi 37s.

Whats a halo system, what do you include with your systems and whats the price. I have heard a ton of good things about you and was already thinking of contacting you prior to me posting.

What are your thoughts on the 10 bolt rear do you think it will survive if i dont launch the car on the spray.

Your stock 10 bolt will be fine as long as you are using street tires or drag radials. Once you move up to et streets or slicks you can kiss your 10 bolt goodbye.

Thank you very much for keeping us in your thoughts.
The Halo system is our custom built dry kit with a spray bar that goes under the air lid.The system comes with a lifetime warrenty solenoid,Black 10 lb bottle with the new 45 valve, microswitch, hoses, fittings etc. The system also has a nitrous pressure gauge, fuel pressure safety switch,NHRA fitting and blow down tube.

If you spray much and have traction the rear will probley not last long..

I blew up my stock 10 bolt with a thunder 224 cam on street tires, no nitrous no tuning. If you are looking into nitrous on your M6 car I would definately look into other options for a rear end.

I would say there were problems with your rear before you started spraying then. Traction (hooking up) kills rear ends, not spinning the tires.

Thanks for all the input. I'm def going to replace the rear when i get the cash i actually have a seperate savings account to save for the rear. About half way there so i should have the money for the rear in a couple of months. Any recomendations on were to order one from.

Dave -
How do you control the hp out put on the Halo system does it have jets. Also is there a number that i can contact you at about the custom dual stage system.

Also wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what kind of ET i'll be looking at with a 200 shot 2 stage rember i'm not launching real hard until i get my rear. I went a 12.5 with a 125 NOS shot which i believe is about 100 rwhp so should i be looking at high 11's thats what i'm hopping for.
