I am really starting to like what the MAX 2 has to offer as far as programability. Everyone knows how much of a problem C5s have keeping the tranny and rear in place when you really start pushing the HP envelope. I wonder how this would work...
Direct Port 300 shot
1st gear 3000 - 7400
Start 25%
End 50%
Ramp 1.5 seconds (60' mark)
Max shot 150
2nd gear 3000 - 7400
Start 45%
End 75%
Ramp .5 seconds to soften the blow to the tranny
max shot 225
3rd gear 3000 - 7400
Start 50%
End 100%
Ramp .5 seconds
4th gear 3000 - 8000
Start 50%
End 100%
Ramp .5 seconds
Direct Port 300 shot
1st gear 3000 - 7400
Start 25%
End 50%
Ramp 1.5 seconds (60' mark)
Max shot 150
2nd gear 3000 - 7400
Start 45%
End 75%
Ramp .5 seconds to soften the blow to the tranny
max shot 225
3rd gear 3000 - 7400
Start 50%
End 100%
Ramp .5 seconds
4th gear 3000 - 8000
Start 50%
End 100%
Ramp .5 seconds
Good lord! 7400 RPM!? 8000!!!?? I wish I could rev that high. Now, I don't have a C5, but an F-body instead and with an A4. I used end below 100% in 1st gear, but after seeing how much traction I actually got, put it up to 100%. And I'm using a 250 shot. Honestly, all you can do is try it, but as long as you're not running on bald street tires, what you have should be just fine.

Phil, what you have sounds good as far as the Max 2 goes. However, I would recommend looking at setting the curve up using the rpm based program. This way if the tires break loose you can peddle it as needed. It just gives a little more flexibility to how the power comes in. Just a thought.

You can pedal it in more ways that one too with the MaxII. If you have your TPS ramp feature enabled... I believe that when you pedal it it will reduce the flow by ...I think it was 20%...cant remember. But thats another neat feature that could be combined in a few different ways in the setup. I plan to enable that feature and test it out in conjunction with the RPM based curves. I downloaded the curve feature today and its badass
383- Thanks for pointing that out, I always lump the TPS control in with the rpm-based program and forget to point out that feature. The trim amount is a maximum of 35% of the total power.
Phil , have you tryed the FLP Stage 5 tranny ?
Mine is supost to hold 800 lbstq , and i dont dought it one bit .
Its holding my 2 stage 300 just fine .
They have 150 pass's on a 750 rwhp car in the 9's .

C5s have a tough time with breaking output shafts and rear ends.
