Default need help wet or dry kit for 98 t/a

i really don't know what kit to get i am deffently getting a kit with in the next month but it is my evertday driver and i still need it to be dependable. i want to go with the 150 shot but i need different opinions. if it matters my mods are full exhaust (no headers), no cats, cut out, 3:73 gears, tuned, trany been worked, lid, k&n. i am putting headers on and a converter in a little after the nitrous. i already run a 12:8 quarter mile.what are so improvements i will see quarter mile times.

Default like a woman you want it wet

I run a TNT ring wet with window switch nothing better in my opinion very reliable, and extremely powerful.

Thumbs up

go with a wet. You won't have to worry about injectors or fuel pump. Some say a fuel pump is a good precaution for a 150. I don't have one, but will eventually. Esspecially when i have the traction to handle a larger shot. Just be sure to get a FPSS to be on the safe side.

Tell me why wet is so much better? I am not trying to start an argument, just want to give the guy reasons. the trend nowadays seems that everyone goes wet, but what about us still going old school and doing dry? Seems like no one does research, they just jump on the wet wagon.

You will not require injectors with a wet kit, and another perk that I like is that you can jet it to get the A/F that you want too instead of the MAF doing it for you.

It isn't that a wet shot is "so much better", they are both capable ways. There are plus and minuses to each. I based my suggestion on that the original poster was looking to spray a 150 shot. Since the shot that he/she wants to spray is pretty decent and there was talk about more mods down the road they might have to switch out their injectors. I based some of my suggestion on cost, as the wet kit will be less expensive then the dry with upgraded injectors. It really just boils down to personal choice and what direction you want to take.

Correct. Both wet or dry will work fine.I personally prefer wet for shots of 150 or above. The key is to look into a quality system with the right accessories to complete your install safely. If I can do anything to help please let me know.
Thanks
Dave
