I ask because I remember reading about possible distribution issues when these came out. I'm not to schooled with carb style anything so I have no idea. Is there more than one style carb intake with one having better dist than the other? I just don't want to be the guy to test it with a 200+ hit (non direct port) and find out there are problems.

Does it have enough clearance to not hit the underside of the cowl?

Im not sure about any articles like that.I have not seen one. The distribution on this intake will be better. I have had customers using this bottom part of the intake for a while. Thats what pushed us to build this set up.
Pluss Ill be spraying 250 with it on this car.
I have many old school customers running carb style intakes with a plate that are spraying huge shots that will make my little 250 look like a 50 shot.LOL

Yes it sure does. It will clear the cowl and the hood. Thats the beuty of this kit. All the home work is done.You will not need to fabricate special parts or cut up your car. We all know that kills resale.

Dave, kudos on a job well done. Will this fit a Corrvette concerning hood clearance?

Dave, are u guys going to leave it the sheetmetal/cast aluminum look? I like the intake I just think it looks missmatched, please don't take this as an insult.
