Default Power trigger wire thru the FPSS?

On my set up I wired the FPSS, one side to the output of the TPS sensor (C5) and the other side to the trigger for the solenoid relay, is this okay? I know usually one would use the FPSS to provide ground to the relay, here I am using it for the trigger wire.

My MSD window switch is providing the ground.

It depends on the internal design of the FPSS (Hobbs switches look the same on the outside but the "guts" can be had in many "off the shelf" and custom configurations). If the instructions that came with yours say to pass a ground through it I would not recommend passing voltage through it (even a low 4.5 - 5 volts). Why not just loop the ground from your window switch through the FPSS and then to the relay?

That was my plan, the routing on that is a little tricky so I used the voltage route, I guess I will have to go back and change it.
