Default Where to hide the bottle in a C5??

I have a C5 with a system in the floor using the center rear compartment for the box/etc. So that area is out of the question. Where else could I hide a bottle and still be able to get to it to fill it?

There is no other place to hide a 10# or larger bottle. It's the stereo equipment or the bottle.

That kinda sucks.........well, where else would be a good place to put one? Near the front of the hatch. Its a coupe so theres no trunk.

If it's going to be visible anyway, I'd mount it so that the bottle is positioned parallel with the car and the valve handle is within easy reach.

why parallel? Why not right behind the passanger valve facing drivers side?

Depends on what size bottle/s you want to use. I've seen a car with 4 5lb bottles before

Lets just say it wouldn't pass the 5mph crash safety testing

Because that is the ideal and recommended bottle position. Remember that the pickup tube is at the bottom of the bottle. When mounted transversely, the nitrous gets pushed against the side of the bottle under heavy acceleration and, because of this, you'll sometimes get "stuttering" nitrous runs when the bottle starts to get low. If the bottle is mounted parallel with the car as recommended, hard acceleration pushes the nitrous in the direction of the pickup tube, not away from it.
