Default Intake Opinions???

I'm working on a new setup for my car since it got flooded in Hurricane Katrina & I'm going full race with it now. I've already got the new motor, but I'm at odds on my intake selection. Right now it's a toss up between a Fast 90 / 90 setup with a DP system or an Edelbrock Victor Jr setup with a Wilson Elbow, 90 mm TB & a plate system. The motor is a 347 Max effort setup that I'll be shifting at around 7500 so I think that the Victor Jr will be pretty good for my setup & I'm planning on going FI in the future so the Victor Jr with the elbow will be pretty good for that also.

I'm just wondering if someone can tell me why I should go with the more expensive Fast 90 / NW 90 TB setup with an NX DP system over the less expensive Victor Jr setup with a plate system. As stated above this is a high revving 347 Race Car.

Also if any sponsors read this & have any Victor Jr's in stock shoot me a P.M.

We offer a victor JR set up ready to bolt on. However unless you have a big cam and really good flowing heads it may be to much intake for you.

I've been paying close attention to your setup Dave. I'm just at odds on if I want to run your Elbow or just a regular 90 Deg elbow with a carb style plate system. Since my car is going to be Race only, I'm not too worried about any clearance issues that I may have with a regular Elbow.

I see your point but from what I have seen it ends up to be just about the same price and you have alot more time in it.

Dave what kind of shot are the spray bars in your setup capable of handling I'm going to start out with around a 200 shot & may go as high as a 350 shot.

NX can build a custom plate specifically for that intake to spray evenly into the runners. We are doing one ver soon. The intakes are currently available from edelbrock, but the rails are out of stock.

Yes I can have NX build a plate for you, But WE can put spray bars in the intake and cut down on clearence problems.
