where would the flow restriction be in the ny-trex nozzle? could be in design. we'll see come january. personally, i kinda agree with nxricky. it's the small solenoid that's used in both compucar and ny-trex. then again, the ny-trex has a .081 orifice in it and the pintle valve opens off the seat way higher than a NOS solenoid. ken at ny-trex showed me both.

one way, or another, i'll get some actual data on the kit differences.
I agree it could be the solenoids and not the nozzles, that was an inaccurate statement by me....What I really meant was you are not flowing the amount of nitrous through the system to make the advertised power. Does it matter? Not really, but I know I would certainly be curious if I did not make at least the advertised horsepower of the jet.....

and that's where my question comes in. ny-trex and compucar both say .062/.033 is 150 MOTOR rated. NX says it is RWHP rated. using ny-trex and compucar reasons, i'm just about dead on. using NX, i'm off by 30-40 rwhp.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. Dosen't the higher stall convertors effect the ouput numbers from the dyno? Meaning, it'll read less than actual hp?

not necessarily. when i dyno'ed the yank py3400e in my black car, i actually gained a little hp in SAE numbers. in ACTUAL numbers, it's lower.

originally, on the 150 shot (.062/.033), i had the stock converter and only put 135 rwhp with the black car.
