Default Nitrous Wiring

Hello, I am sitting here looking over my kit and parts *DynoTune Ls1 kit, Purge, Bottle Heater, etc...* and thinking i'll need a relay for the purge kit to run off of alone. Is this right, or can it be wired up with the other solenoids some how?

I dont have a purge, but you would need another relay. You are going to trigger the purge with a push button, which would be the switched side of the relay. If you ran the purge from the same relay as the other solenoids, when you pressed the button for the purge, the other solenoids would trigger as well.

Thats what I was thinking. But then I thought that I saw a diagram with one wired up through the arming switch without a relay.

Probrably saw something like this:
PHP Code:
12v+ACC--->ArmSwitch--->NitrousMainNoidRelay--->(VariousSafetyStuff)--->Ground
                   |
                    --->PurgePushButton--->PurgeNoid--->Ground
Theres really no need for another relay if its wired in this way. Im unsure of what the current requirements are for the DynoTune Purge noids but on the NX purge noid its 'bout 8.5_ amps. I guess I should say it depends on what the purge noid current rating is compared to the switch specs. If current pull on noid is more than the spec on switch then youll need a relay.

For the cost of a relay, I wouldnt wire the solenoid up without it....
