On the descreen, normally on a straight shot of air, ie: f-body, y-body this is acceptable. My opinion is yes remove, but hopefully someone else will comment on this issue. As far away as you are with your shot, you may not need to, others insight?

Robert, I agree with you and white 2001s10. The maff does need to be descreened. I have had many customers tell me they have had problems with it in.

Zex actually makes a Air amplifier Kit that would work great on these cars.

Basically the same thing as putting the nozzle in the end of the K&N....

Not saying you need to buy this. Doing the nozzle in the end of your filter will be the same thing. I just thought I would show this.

Zex has some very nice products, but why that ricer purple? Just don't get it, the main complaint with Zex is the color? sorry to get off track.
