Default 3lb. bottles? and manual sparay?

Hey guys,
I'm lookin for small nitrous bottles, does anyone know if a company makes 3lb. bottles? I'd like to get 2 or 3 to put them hidden somewhere. Also I'd like to have a manually activated spray, not a WOT sensor mechanism. Anyone have one? Or know who makes them? I want to have a button, switch, trigger-somethin I can manually use when I want just to have some extra power when needed. Any ideas or thoughts would be useful, thanks.

Let me guess, completly hidden set up?

I'm not sure if anyone makes a 3lbs. Closest I've seen is a 2.5lbs. I bet you could hide a 2.5 or maybe even a 5lbs bottle in the passanger side airbag compartment. The glove box drops out in 30 seconds without any tools so you would have easy access to the bottle and noblody would ever find it. It'll be pretty easy to wire up a manual switch.

Great, I'm gonna hang onto your info. I browsed a little bit on the site, but do you have manual spray mechanisms? I havent seen any or know too much about manual spray options.

It doesn't require any special mechanism. A momentary switch will do the job. It's simpler than you think.

the 2 wires that go into a WOT switch, take those 2 and put them into a 3 dollar walmart switch (any color u want). might need to be a higher voltage rated switch from radioshack.

done

If you want a samll bottle try looking at street bike websites. I ordered a 50 shot setup for my Hayabusa and they make very small bottles. You could probably use more bottle for less price.

We carry a large veriety of bottles. The 2.5 is the most common..

Now here is the things you need to take into consideration. If the system you are using is a wet system bottle pressure will play a huge roll. After opening all three bottles the pressure will even out between them. You will have to have a heater on each bottle to keep the pressure right. This will be the same for a dry. However the effect of not using bottle heaters will not cause the system to go rich like the wet.It just will not make any HP. Depending on the size shot you plan on using I would suggest trying maybe 1 or 2 5 lb bottles. As for the TPS NX and Zex make a great TPS unit.Or we carry a window switch with a TPS built in.If you need some knowledgebale tech help putting this custom system together feel free to hit me up.

Dave, a dry hit is not going to go rich without a heater, one of the many benifits of dry. It will maintain a/f ratio from full pressure to empty. It's the wet kit that goes rich as bottle pressure goes down. Maybe it was a typo?

a 2.5 pound bottle is not worth hiding only good for one or two shots. Get a 5 pound and put it in the compartment on the the left side

Great thanks, I'll let you know if I want to go with that. Do you by chance know the dimensions of the 3lb. bottle?

Thanks for the info. Dave and Robert. I'm thinking a dry shot into the intake line after the intercooler. Anyone else using a dry or wet shot with FI, particularily a turbo?
