Actually dave was driving like a normal person for once, lol. We were just passing a truck, couldn't have been more then a 1/4 throttle, between 4-5krpms, bottle and system was off. Then boom. I thought he had to have ran over something, untill we popped the hood and saw oil everwhere

you swear? I heard Dave had his foot in it because he was shorted a french fry! Bottle warm, bottle open dumped it at full throttle. Then... the Kia Sedona smoked you!

It's a stock displacement bottom end with Diamond pistons, T-Rex cam with LS6 heads that someone HOME ported with out larger valves or flow numbers. It also has Nitrous Outlet LS1 Intake System. The tranny is a TCI turbo 400 with a 4000 Yank Converter, backed by a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears.

Dave's best N/A motor pull while tuning was 390 HP and 384 TQ Air fuel was 12.3. On a 200 Shot it put down 595 HP 542 Torque,Air fuel was 11.5. The low torque numbers is the result of our intake on a stock motor. Dave and the tuner felt there was a little more in the car, but they didn't have enough time due to other cars needing to get put on the dyno.

Dave hasn't driven the car more then 3-4 instances. Took it to the track twice that I know of, and first time I have seen it on the street is when I was riding with him for lunch.

I beleive that is all correct, I'm sure dave will come back and correct me if I said anything wrong.

Well I washed all the oil off and put the car on jack stands. It chunked a rod.. I have a feeling that the damage was already done before i bought the car.. The previous ownder had tried to run a 250 shot on a single walboro fuel pump with no hotwire and 28 degrees of timing.. He told me he ran a 10.20 but zaped some spark plugs.. I think it must have hurt the rod then.. He did tell me that he did a compression test and everything was ok. It just did not come apart until later.. Its nobodys fault and there is no way anyone would have known..

The good thing is that I had the car up for sale due to not having anytime for it.. If I would have sold someone the car and they called me and said that it chunked a rod out of it with normal driving I would have called BS.. Then they wouldd have been mad at me and I would be in a bad predictment.. Atleast this way no one is hurt..

I have thought about what I was going to do all weekend. I really did not want to tear the car apart because it is such a nice car.. However I do not have time for a toy right now and I we are making some pretty good investmentys right now so the money back in the bank would be nice.. So I have decided I am going to part the car out. I will put the car back to stock street car and then sell the driver when finished..

We already have a shop race car. (Tonys Car) So me having one less car sitting in the garage collecting dust is no big deal..

So I will be selling the intake set up and dedicated fuel system off this car for the people that asked above..

Well it never fails, you prepare to sell a car, it dies.
You clean it all up really pretty and then the car dies. Boy have i been down that road
way to many times.
Well good luck, and yes if you would have sold it it would have been a hassle.
