I'm glad to see you are looking at all the features of different controllers. The controller HSW sells is a good controller, however, there is a HUGE difference! (I think this is what Nitrous Direct was trying to say when he said "its not from the same planet") The COLD FUSION CONTROLLER is Digital, HSW is not, and once the *** is moved / bumped you will never be able to repeat exactly the settings you fine tuned, like you can with a digital controller (not just ours but any digital controller). Also, our controller can handle 8 PRO size solenoids and is extremely heavy duty! Now as far as the price theirs is MUCH CHEAPER than ours. Either controller is good. Its like choicing a BOW TIE ROCKET block to a stock block each has its value, but one is stronger and has a wider range of uses.

Juiced2000SS,
Don't let stupid remarks from "others" push you away from at least checking the unit out. It looks good, even though I personally went with the Advantage (the first non NX product on my system!). If the Advantage would have taken longer to bring to market this new controller from CF "may" have purchased in its place! Price was not an issue for me (never is really) but customer service is, and Matt has been upfront with me and actually told me to hold off buying the Edge and wait for the Advantage because he listened to my needs. That is a huge plus in my book. The boys at NX and Nitro Dave have always done this too, making them top notch in my book also.
Thanks again to all the vendors for bringing out COOL products and soooo many choices!!! You guys rock!!!!

Hmmm. The Advantage is a DIGITAL Progressive controller. It does not use LCD screens for set up, but instead LED lights. That way you can easily set the controller back to the settings you had before. Out of the box it can handle 4 large solenoids. For an additional $20 (for another solenoid driver box) it will handle another 4 solenoids. So maybe I'm still missing something, but where is the "HUGE difference"? Other then price and size (The Advantage will fit in the palm of your hand) I'm not seeing one...

where is the digital read out (LCD screen) if its digital??? all that I see is some red led's and 3 *****!!!! MOST people consider digital when it has a LCD screen. I do understand that it can be digital without the screen but that was not what I was refering to. it is very difficult to have any way to reset with a **** as compaired to a screen that you can take notes on and record your settings for the best results.

A controller (progressive, window switch, etc.) can be digital without having a LCD screen on it, or any screen for that matter. It can also be digital and use *****.
Thought I would throw that out there so it would be common knowledge.

My bad Albert, didn't understand what you were getting at the first time. Gotcha now though. I've never used a progressive controller with ***** (or a screen) so I couldn't tell someone if the repeatability is there or not. I personally would prefer a controller with data logging capability so that you don't even have to write anything down, just look at the info that is logged and save the file.

Yes, data logging is NICE! for the track! I install a lot of race packs in race cars and it is a needed part for any all out race car. A bit over kill for the street!

I guess it depends on what a person's definition of street car is, lol. Mine always seems to be a bit more extreme than the norm, haha. Plus, data logging is so easy with some of the controllers out there that it just makes sense to take advantage of it.
