The spare tire area on a 01 SS? BTW, I want to rout the bottle heater wire and control wire to the spare tire area also. I'm having a hard time feeding a hanger wire under the carpet. thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply joeyGC5, Anymore more methods out there? I cant believe only one person has done this. I guess I will just put a connector on the wires and run the plug over the carpet untill I figure out a better way or wait untill I hear of a better way to come along.

I did like MetallicaMatt... unscrewed everything: center console, side panels, rear panels, all of it. Then I peeled the carpet back a bit and ran my wires, which I already had wrapped up in wiring loom.

GOT IT! Just did it like joeyGC5 did it, disconnected the seat and ran the wires though, it was really easy since right under the seat there was a slit in the carpet already and the carpet is loose under the seat, I put a long piece of heat shrink over the wires and then put convoluted tubing over that just in case there is some unforeseen chaffing of the wires under the carpet. I should be able to fire this thing up with nitrous tomorrow. Thanks for everyones help!
