are you guys tuning these things on dynos?
i mean i know that ill porb just set it up to do a straight ramp(not straight but a straight angled from 25%-100%) for now ... and then when i go to a larger shot tune it on the dyno.. this will be on my 125 shot everything is tuned etc for now
is that ok?

It is the original maximizer, not the M2. Not sure if that makes a difference, Im not at the house so I cant see the wiring diagram but I dont remember the wiring diagram showing a relay....

REMEMBER, THE UNIT ITSELF IS ABOUT 4"x2", THAT IS ALL. You unplug the 2 harness's right on the unit, and you can bring the unit in to your home and change the programs on your desktop/home computer.
You BY NO MEANS "need" a laptop for this. It is EXTREMELY simple to remove from the car (literally two harness's right on the unit, just unplug them and take it where ever you please).
We are going to install this unit on the track car so i thought it would be best to bring a laptop to the track to dial it in. I have my choice of several old laptops that by todays standards are too slow for the office but I thought they would be good for this.

Go to the folder where the FJO .exe program is and copy and paste the 2StageSX.ini file out of there. The .ini file is the configuration file. What I usually do is I take a screenshot of my configuration screen while in the FJO program and then save that and the corresponding .ini file I just copied from the FJO folder into my "FJO CONFIGURATIONS" folder. That way I get the configuration itself and also a graphic representation of what is on the .ini file too. You could also just open the .ini file with wordpad and view the settings in there if you wanted, but I like to look at the picture graph instead. Hope this helps.
