Default TR224 and Spray

I might be swapping my 216/220 for a TR224 cam. I know that a traditional split is usually better for the spray, but how well will this single pattern cam work? I'm trying to stay smog legal, or I'd use a 224/228, which is too borderline for me. Would I be better off with something like a 224/226, or will the 224/224 work fine. BTW, I couldn't pull anything up with a search.

TR224 is a good all-around cam. It responds well to nitrous as well.

Depends on how much you'll be spraying... I think the guys on here say anything over 200 and you have to worry about nitrous cams, but if you're only hittin a 100 you'll be fine.

Thanks guys....sounds like the 224 will work well. I won't be going over a 150 shot, and most likely not even over 125.

I've got a TR 224/224 114 and it works fine. Easily passes smog here in CA as well. Not to change the subject, but I noticed in your sig it says you're waiting to install long tubes. You probaly already know this, but LT's will make you fail the visual. (even with cats)

Thunder 224 here, and 150 wet shot, this thing runs great, the cam really woke up my previous set up, but I currently going Direct port so most likely I'll be over 200 shot so a nitro grind bumper is in my future, but you won't be disappointed. Make sure you have a good fuel setup.
