me and my friend were talking about this on the way home the other night lmao. It would suck to have to put stickers on the car. One time we got stopped and a cop asked my friend if he was a diver (he saw the 2 nitrous bottles) the other cop goes "no thats the stuff they run in the motors....nitrogen or something like that" I lost it laughing.

Someone in the street racing forum just posted a news clip of one of those investigative reports on street racing. It was in Arkansas, but in it they had the usual sob story about some mom who lost their kid because they were street racing.
It then said her loss was not in vein because "they" passed a new law banning nitrous oxide in street vehicles. They made it seem like it was a nation wide law and it kind of freaked me out because my pressure gauge and switch panel are in plain view.

If you had a shut off valve on the main feed line 2 or 3 inches away from the bottle, then you could close that, then quick disconnect the bottle and not that much n2o would come out would it?

It is too bad the ladys son died but he would be just as dead if he had been street racing in a Yugo.

The nitrous did not kill him, someones bad choice did that.

The whole trasporting hazardous material thing is bullshit. You can transport nitrous all you want. It becomes a HAZMAT issue when you start carrying certain amounts in your car. You dont need markings if you are carrying a 20lb bottle.

Well i am glad to know that Fl has no problems with nitrous. I was considering mouting a bottle between the rear seats, but wasn't sure if it was legal to have or not. And even then i mounted a 2 5/8 nitrous pressure gauge in my center air vent, you would have to be blind to miss it.

Everytime I've been pulled over with nitrous the cops are just interested in the system. They ask how much power it makes and how long it lasts and stuff like that. But I've never been hassled about it. I think this is few and far between but that's what happened to me.
