Do you guys use the juice solely on the strip, or do you open her up on the streets as well?

I became a user myself in 1994
after a few years of racing and toying with the idea of FI,
I too regret not going to the bottle sooner

I'd say most of use have pretty fast cars without the bottle and only really need it for special occasions, thus cutting down the cost and wear even further. You only use it when you need it.
Even then when you need it, N2O is SO effective at instantly adding the power that you can win your race with only 2 - 4 seconds of activation time, and then go back to the motor, as most cars will not be powerful enough to make up the lost ground unless they are a serious FI car.
With the bottle you have the option of only using as much power as you need instead of being 100% the whole time you have the pedal mashed. That's a huge plus.

The bottle doesn't have the lag time, excessive heat to manage, or weight penalties that FI has, and it's a factor of X10 cheaper.
You can easily add 200hp to your car with $300 of equipment with N2O, compared to $3000 for a FI system that is doubtful to reach an added 200hp and nowhere near the torque.
There was never any comparison.

I use it on the street whenever I get the chance. Car is kind of a handful on the street now so it's not usually that often anymore. Back when it was a lid/catback/125 shot set up I would hit it almost all the time getting on the highway and even passing cars. Used to go through atleast a 15lbs bottle a week and the car has never missed a beat.

Track...reason...waaaay too much power for even drag radials. The torque requires slicks. I feel pretty lucky to have enough motor to deal with street issues. LOL.
