Default Any regrets?

Just wondering if anyone was debating between FI and N2O, went N2O and regretted it. Obviously, it's cheaper to begin with, but did you find that you were actually spending much more in the long run because of the fill-ups? Seems like this would be more of a problem in the warmer areas of the country where you could use it year round.....or a real dummy up North, . Also, it's limited. Have you ever been playing around with some FI buddies on the streets and run out while they blow past you and you just hear your bottle spitting out the little it has left?

Really my main two concerns after reading thru the FAQ and posts on here and ls1gto.com....

I have a 2lbs bottle on my v-rod and it runs out too quickly. I would prefer a turbo system but I am not willing to spend $6k. As far as my car I went FI, the power is ALWAYS there.

I have no regrets at all for going with nitrous. I have yet to get caught with my pants down either. Get yourself a 15 bottle and keep it topped off. As you mentioned the long run cost will depend. I put togethor a refill station and that was about the best thing I did. Between buying nitrous wholesale and filling for other people, the station has paid for itself plus it helps pay for some of my cars operating costs.

I bought a used 150 NX wet kit with purge for 375 on this site. Spent 60 on a window switch, 150 on a heater, and 50 on bottle brackets. Total of 635. I then also bought a set of TR6 plugs for about $16.

I had no regret using N20 first. It served it purpose. Cheap HP. But I wanted that feeling all the time. So decided to go FI.

If you Buy Nitrous for a power adder only because its the cheaper route to go the a SC/Turbo set up. Your in a for some Kind of Dissapointment. All 3 have a distictive feel. Imo you should not buy it cause of the $ But it fits your LIfestyle/Needs

No regrets here. Cheap, easily adjustable, Its not putting a strain on your motor when you dont need it, and its easily removed if "the man" gives you any trouble. I like my power adders cheap and easy, just like my women.

My only regret is that the debate over what system to use, how to troubleshoot issues and whos' stuff is better. Nitrous itself may not be volitale; however, discussing it can be.
Who do I give the $75/hour Psych fees too?

Seriously - I may build a turbo motor next...I'll be more tempted to do that on a different car though.

I have some regrets, mostly because I now see the Magnason Supercharger sticking out of the hood and I just love it. As far as performance, no regrets. My system will destroy a magnason setup on the strip and gets about as many looks when the hood is up. Unfortunately I drive around with the hood down so the "maggie" wins for the overall cool factor. If I upgrade, I will do a stroker motor with a maggie AND nitrous. Just praying for the Lotto to call....

No regrets going N20 but if I had to do it again I'd go turbo without a doubt. Turbo is more expensive but they are no way near as hard on parts as N20 is.
