Default Few pics of my dry setup

hey robert or some of your dry gurus chime in on the placement of the nozzle in the neck of the lid and your suggestion on which way to turn the nozzle, i have tried aiming at the wires and away from the wires. both gave a good a/f reading but alittle richer when aimed at the wires, which i like when i am spraying it jetted at 250.

I think aiming at the wires is best. The MAF registers more temperature drop and a richer A/F is commanded. It's then fairly easy to jet up the N2O until you either reach the A/F you want or the power level you want.

yeah i thought so, on the dyno on my third pull i jetted the first stage at 120 and it put right at 112 to the rear wheels giving me 502.23rwhp and 521.25rwtq but the a/f was at 13.1 this was my last pull as i only got 3 pulls on the dyno. first pull on motor and 28x10.5 et drags put 336.25rwhp and 367.60rwtq (tires rubbed the inner lip bad and filled up the dyno room with smoke. the a/f on that pull was 11.9. i changed to street tires and leaned out the a/f to 12.8 and put down 384.82rwhp and 383.79rwtq on motor thru a ford 9inch with 4.11's. on the street with my wideband on the first stage the a/f is around 11.5 to 11.8. on both stages jetted at 250 the a/f drops to about 10.9 to 11.2 a/f. does this sound about right to you guys. or should i play with the nozzle aiming more. oh yeah the second stage comes on at 3800.

I've aimed away and to the side.My best control over A/F and has been aimed at the MAF.My nozzles enter in the bottom of the lid. They are placed before tight to the filter bottom piece.

Sweet, good job. Nozzle placement is important, and I think you got it. i run 11.5 11.8 and works well. a little rich may rob a few hp, but better safe than sorry for a couple hp. Your choice though if ya want to lean it out a bit.
