hidden nos I just started a new job, and I met this guy there that has a brother that has a mustang. He knows what I run at the track, and he wants to race me for cheese. 500 dollars. Now he says that he aint using nos and he hasnt done anythin to the car but put 3.73's out back. They insist that they aint done anything to this mustang. I think they are lying, but anyways is there a nos system that i can run that is hidden? That way I can run nos and them not know it. And is there a way to tell when you are racing someone with nos? I mean does the exhaust change colors or is there a different smell or like does it sound different? I mean is there a way to run nos so they dont know about it?
yes you can hide a system with some work, it'll also depend if the other guy knows where to look
things to look for on the other guy, would be the system of course, hoses, switches, bottle etc
but also look/listen for a purge, but that could be covered up with a loud exhaust doing a burn out (sound wise)
exhaust would blacken out some I believe b/c the motor usually runs rich. you can also listen to the car b/c you'll hear it start to pull and rev faster
if your at the track, and someone is watching, you can pretty much tell, imo

Niro Dave makes a kit called the money maker. It mounts all the parts underneath the intake manifold. Your hoses run in behind the manifold and yoou can not see them at all. Even if you know what you are looking for. The bottle is hidden above the glove compartment. It can spray up to a 300 shot. Be sure you are going to stay with the jet youu are going to use, because it is a ***** to change them. Beautiful setup really. 100% invisible. I have had it used on me. I went over the car 100 times. Or I should say I suspect I had it used on me. Good lluck.

who cares if you put a kit on the car man,dont open the hood and it run what you got.If a guy in a stang wants to race an F-body for 500$ he is going to give you all the car has and you better do the same.
Why go through all the effort to hide your bottle and then go on the Internet and post all kinds of pics of it.
Maybe there are guys with GTOs that really want to hide the bottle, now everyone will know where to look.

Good job making it public, its a pain in the *** to get a GTO guy to take there bottle out when you ask them to look there.

OH BOO HOO, great, now EVERYONE knows that there are hidden nitrous kits out there, I guess we better just pull the kits off our cars, because the surprise is RUINED! Seriously any true racer is gonna view it this way:
1. Run what you brung, bottom line, bring everything you got and leave the excuses at home.
2. Inspect the car your racing, if you cant find it, thats your own fault, I dont care how hidden the system is, if you wanna race something you better make damn sure you know where to look.
Either way that is a really nice system, and a great place to hide the system. I just hope all the GTO owners with "Hidden" nitrous systems dont come and hunt you down for telling us your Jedi Secrets.
