Not too long ago a guy on here dynoed with a Dynotune single nozzle dry and got 77 rwhp at 950 psi with a 48. I just got on the dyno last week and with a 52 jet I made 85 rwhp more also at 950 psi. I was also using a Dynotune single nozzle dry.

Im gonna get back to a dyno this week to see if different nozzle position fixed a slight lean problem I had(13.0:1). I'll run 1050 psi this time to see if I can get to 100 rwhp and report back with dyno sheet.

dirty2k, do you have any idea what A/F your car was running?

Jeff
is this the one? https://ls1tech.com/usa/showthread.php?t=444970 I gained 72 RWHP and 130RWTQ with the 48 jet. The nozzle position was changed but the results were the same.

well i reused the stock bolts that connected the rods to the crank. even though i used GMs torque specs, i prolly should of got new ones?
by the way what does IMHO mean?
i guess i can count this as a good lesson.. at least it was a stock motor and not a good one...

Nothing wrong with a dry kit if you put the right parts together and put them together right. We have cars in the 1.2 60 fts on dry hit, and running pretty healthy with them. heads/cam nitrous 347 running 9.7s, 9.8 on drag radials and motor looked brand new after a season of racing and making a total of 2 motor passes all year. Cant understand why people say dry doesnt hit hard or how its unsafe???
