Default Set Shift Points (A4) ; Extended

I've noticed while on N2O that my set shift points are extended. I have my points set at 5600-rpm, all-motor. While spraying, I've seen 6100-6200-rpm on occasion and just earlier today, logged 6400-rpm... The 6400-rpm could have been because a bit of tire slippage but, the others are definetes.

What is causing this and is there a way to bring the points back down?
I don't see any reason to shift at such a high RPM on a stock internal motor.

The finite lag time of the trans is likely to blame. Also,
your line pressure runs up with sensed load, but bleed-
downs are what they are and get slower, the higher the
pressure was. So you need to put in some "windage" for
all this, just like you put in some enrichment.

If you have a "Tow/Haul" button, this is where I'd use it.
Program the Performance table for an earlier shift MPH
and a couple of hundred lower WOT RPM.

Of course if your window switch cut the spray far enough
before shifting then you might get by with one set of
settings.

Tranny shifts off of RPM so just set the desired RPM a bit lower to give it a bit of a 'head start', in other words?

No worries bout a window switch. Sprayin thru the shifts.

Which line pressure tables? I think I'll do like you said and set of the tow/haul for 'n2o' usage.

Thanks Jimmy.
