Default Dry Kit Questions...

I realize im bout to ask a question that has been answered so many times its ridiculous and I apoligize...I have read the stickies and searched and everything but some stuff just still seems over my head.....I dont consider myself a mechanic by any means but I do see myself as mechanically enlined next to the aver average person.....And I plan on getting a dry nitrous kit ive helped install one in a Celica once before and it was no big deal. But my question is what all do I need to "accesorize" my dry kit with? I understand the bottle heater and purge kit (I know it dont really make a difference but it looks mean as hell) no need for a remote opener because im mounting it on the hump between the seats.....But what about the window switch and all that is that stuff hard to install? And whats a good jet and what isnt. I thought about putting fan jets on each side of the air lid good idea or not?? My current mods are Pacesetter LT's true duals and a lid , and I own a M6. Also what dry kit you reccomend me to buy I plan about 125 shot if that safe on stock internals....Ive found some deals on some kits on ebay for around 350.00 are they any count at all? I realize someone prob jus answered this question for someone else a month ago but i could find anything.....ANY help or tips would be much appreciated from you all NTRIOUS PROS.....Thanks

A window sw is a good idea, turns on and off at your selected rpms. this can keep you off the rev limiter, keep ya from spraying at to low of rpm and can be set to keep from spraying through shifts (non built tranny). Most people will rec going with one, I do. You'll also make more consistant runs at the strip. easy step by step install, if ya can wire a kit, you can wire a ws.

Stick with the jets that come with your kit, or at least that style, as there are some diff ones out there.

Not knowing what year your car is, it's ahrd to determine what your max hit should be. A 125hp hit is doable but some considerations may be needed ie: injectors.

The kit I rec is the PRO Dry kit from Nitrous Direct, it's a little more than what you quoted, but a complete and quality based kit. It also includes Fuel Press Safety SW, NHRA Blow down kit and more, whereas the cheaper kits normally don't included these items. Also, dual stainless steel nozzles compared to the normal aluimin in most kits. Includes the 400hp Pro noid with a lifetime warranty, one of the best noids on the market. I can link you to a intro thread on this kit if you like. we also have the cheaper base kit, closer to your quote. let me know if you have more questions, you can pm me if you like. Iam sure the other vendors will give some more ideas. Good luck on your kit choice.

Thanks I really appreciate it.....Car is a 1998 by the way it comes with the bigger injectors but not the ls6 intake unfortunately......I do plan on a 255 walbro fuel pump in the future.....I feel like i need nitrous because I have have the money for a new rearend and getting 4.10 gears a cam and good tires would be pointless seeing how I would just leave my stock rear at the light .....But info is much appreciated.....if the darn income tax money would jus get here id be happy...

I did a dry 125 on my '97 vette. also, a 125 on my '02 with stock injectors, however, it was starting to go lean. I would suggest, starting small and working your way up, logging for a/f, injector duty cycle and kr, or stay at a safer 100 hit.
