Default BMN controller..how does it lock out 1st gear of 6-spd?

anybody used the bmn nitrous controller?? it has an option for a first gear lockout so that you can avoid the overpowered rear tires during launch.

my question is how does it do this for a 6-spd?? it would make sense that the car's computer for an automatic would provide a signal of when to shift to 2nd, and the controller might be able to read this as the controller is fairly sophisticated and is programmed with a laptop. but where would the controller get a signal if manual trans??

Correct. It reads RPM. When the RPM drops for teh gear shift it counts that as a gear change.

If you are looking for one we have them on sale right now for 99.99.
