Default my new dry set-up

I finally swapped my nos 5177 kit to a dual noid set-up as per instructions given by Robert on the site and it is amazing. This kit hits twice as hard as before and I dynoed it and made over 100 HP difference with the same jets. The car put down 428 on motor and 667 on the juice. I reccomend this set-up to anyone who wants a bigger hit with the 5177 kit. Thanks again Robert.

P.S. this new set-up helped puit me to 10.2 at 135 lifting the front tires off the ground twice because I had to pedal it to keep it hooked. Im also spraying it all at once and out the hole.

Great run!
Yeah, dry can take pedaling the throttle without a big problem.

the hook up is so easy i never would have even noticed i could do that. but this gives me ideas, could i actually jet one side for a 50 hit so i could come off the line on my converter with the n20 and then hit it with a 75 shot when i'm at about 4k?and with this set up could i run a 150 shot with out pulling any timeing or is pulling the timeing a good idea anyway?

Great, another dry success story. The 5177 is a very versitile kit, and can put down the numbers equal to any wet kit. Your knocking on 9.xx's door. I Think Al the mod put down like 700+ on the 5177. Good job, and good driving to hook that bad boy outa the hole.

Sure, you can mix/match your jets, i do it all the time to get the exact hit hp I want.
Timing on a 150 hit, you prob don't need to pull any, unless added timing in a tune. However, the only absolute way to know is to log. Also, you can pull timing on spray only with a dry in your tune.

why is it that Force fed guys max the mafs out at lower power levels than the dry kits?

I wouldn't think the maf would be able to read out as high as 667HP... am I just an uneducated moron?

someone tell me what Im missing...

You can do over 700hp and not max a ls1 maf out, and if you go to a Z06 maf you can go higher freq than that. Al the mod has hit well over 700 on ls1 maf and dry. .I think it has to do with total flow, or rather volume. Meaning, blower has to push more air than an equal hp n2o hit and thus maxing maf out sooner at lower hp levels. Now I am not a blower guy, so someone may be able to give a better explaination.

The MAF can only sense mass and not oxygen in particular.
The oxygen controls the power output more so than the mass of air.
Boosted guys have to pass much more mass by the MAF to equal the same amount of oxygen as an equal powered N2O car. N2O delivers more oxygen with less mass, so is much more efficient.
