Default Buying Nitrous on a Budget, Need Advice

Well, Im looking into getting a N2o Kit here soon.
The mods are the car are just exhaust, headers, 3800 Stall, and a lid. Everything else is just suspension work

When i say budget, i mean, i dont wanna spend $1500 on a n2o setup. I'd like to spend uner $800, but i think with the accessories that i want, it will be hard.

The accessories i would like to have would be a remote bottle opener, blow down tube, bottle heater, n2o pressure gauge, and a purge kit. Also a MSD Window switch

I've done some looking into the Zex and NX LS1 kits, and they seem nice.
Im not sure if the wet kit or the dry kit is the better road for me

But i figured I asked for you guys advice on which kit.

Getting all of what you are wanting for under $800 might be a little tough. If you are interested in NX systems I would recommend looking at the monthly specials that Nitro Dave does. Here's the link for the Feb. specials (I know Feb. is over, but March specials havn't been released yet). I'm sure he would work something out with you if you were to want to order one of the Feb. specials even though it's March.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ght=Nitro+Dave

Dave also carries both wet and dry systems, and his custom dry systems are assembled using NX parts (solenoids, bottle, etc.). For a wet system, his dual nozzle special is probably the best value on the market for a wet system right now. If you are interested in a wet system take a look at it in the link above.

Let me know if I can help with anything.

We can definately get you setup with the right kit and all of the accesories you need for that or less. We'd be happy to answer any questions before and after, don't hesitate to ask!

a dry kit is a good way to get started for a little less $$, and you can easily make it into a wet kit later if you want to go that way.

I've had both Zex and NX. Both wet. I like the NX design better. Like Jeremy said...check with Nitrous Outlet aka Nitro Dave...I think he's moving in a week or so and may be slow getting back to you?? ...he's real strong with "Nitrous Nollege". (like that?) You sound like you have a great setup already...Nitrous and Stalls, in my opinion, are about the best thing you can do to a F body. Just have a blast and punch it.

Id mount the bottle on the hump between the two backseats. That would save u a couple hundred bucks since there would be no need for the bottle opener, just turn round and open er up......Take a duffle bag and cut a slit in the bottom and slide it over ur bottle and zip the bag and everyone will think you just workout at the gym instead of racing lol......I reccomend a purge kit jus cuz it makes teenagers in there civics **** there pants when they pull beside u at a red light.....

I bought a DynoTune wet kit new on sale for $369. I just need a switch panel ($30), a bottle heater (~$100), FPSS ($40), window switch ($130), and a bracket made for me right now. That's under $700 for the whole system, pretty good if you ask me. Later on I'll get a purge kit, a/f guage and nitrous psi guage and stick them in a guage pod.

I like the bottle in the back seat...I chose the spare tire well. Hawk has his bottles (has to have two....mr bling bling) up on top of the gas tank...looks bitchin (can I say that)? But I digress...Dyno Tune seems to have some really good pricing. There seems to be people happy with evrthing form me and NX to Hawk and (drum roll) Cold Fusion . The issue is what defines a inexpensive system? For me it would be in the flavor of your choice: Maybe a Dyno Tune, Harris Spoeed Works, NX or TNT or someones going to Cold Fusion single nozzle system with:
Bottle in back seat
Warmer avaiable
MSD Window switch (inexpensive)
For me wet is my bet for ease
I like the NX 3 switch panel in my Camaro better that the Jimmy Jams - although i'st nice too.
Nitrous Pressure guage to monitor pressure. An FPSS maybe.
-Macon

I'll add in all honesty Nitrous Direct offered my good pricing one time...I already had a vendor with Nitrous Outlet...many folks are happy with both and the many other vendors out there.

everything was new from the dynotune site except for the used indow switch, and if you order it all at once you only get slapped with a shipping fee once

Macon, you're an allright guy, I think.

Yep, Nitrous Direct has the quality and pricing, making it the best value on the market. For example, The PRO Dry kit at $525, Dual Stainless Steel Nozzles (can be upgraded to new "Predator" nozzles) which most companys supply a lesser grade anoidized aluim, 400hp Pro noid with a lifetime warranty, a Fuel pressure safety sw, NHRA approved blow kit, bottle gauge and much more. As you can see, the kit includeds extras that other kits do not, and quality is number one. I honestly believe this is the best dry kit on the market, bar none. If you have any questions deciding wet/dry feel free to pm or e-mail me as I would be happy to help, regardless of kit choosen.
