dry kit questions
i currently have the 5177 NOS dry kit and i've always wondered why dry kits come with only 100hp jets (max) and wet kits come with higher hp jets.
i know you can just buy bigger jets but it seems theres gotta be a reason that the dealers dont include bigger jets with the dry kits.
is there something i should do to my kit for a bigger shot or is buying bigger jets simple enough?
i hope everyone understands what im trying to ask.
thanks in advance

it's because stock injectors tend to max out with shots over 100 - if you want to spray more, go with bigger injectors and an upgraded fuel pump
you may be able to get 125 or 150 shot out of it off a stock fuel system on a car making stock power, but make sure you are monitoring A/F, knock and injector duty to make sure it is safe

okay, injectors had crossed my mind so i've got a warlboro in tank and 36#ers. i will installing these in a week or so. now, what kind of jets can i look forward to getting?
NOS claims their 150 jets give approx. 120 rwhp. what are some opinions on jet size considering i have the pump and injectors (36#)?

and no jets is equivilent toooooo.....??? (how much power)
walker, what sort of equipment did you have to support this "jetting"? remember i'll only have 36# injectors and a warlboro in tank 255.

I ran the 125 jets with full exhaust and a lid....it made 438/504 with stock injectors, stock pump, and stock tune, didn't go lean either Equated to a 101rwhp 155rwtq gain. I am gonna get 42lb injectors, fuel pump, cam, and tune of course and take the jets out. Shooting for 150rwhp, 200ish rwtq.
