Intake is done!! now to the n2o guy!!! well, thanks to the help of my buddy mike, my fast 90 no longer looks like everyones fast 90.
the wilson was sanded to nothing, and the fast leters sanded to nothing, and the intake is now painted.
its looking pretty sweet, and will be going out to get plumed tommorow, and i should have it back in about 1-2 weeks!!!!!!!

are we going for a sleeper look on the intake and then stabbing nozzles into it to kill the sleeper image? 
or is it just a matter of personal preference with the sanding and painting?

Come on Noyzee, you've been around here long enough to know that threads like this don't mean anything without pics . So get some posted up ASAP. I've wondered how well a painted intake would hold up to the heat in the engine compartment. I'm sure it look great, now get some pics up

sorry for the no pics guys, i will get some of the intake today.
as for sanding it, my car isnt realy a sleeper lol
it was for a different look. anyone can have a fast but only i can have a painted. lol jk
Jeremy, i have had a painted intake for 4 years now, the first one i did didnt come out great, but after i figured out how to prep it and which products work the best, it hold up well.
here is my old ls6 intake. paint in this pic is 2 years old, and looks mint.
as for sanding it, my car isnt realy a sleeper lol
