Thumbs up more progress last night!!! pics!

Got some wiring done, and some stuff laid out, and brackets made for my computer, ect.
heres some pics!

keep in mind, everything you see will be removed. this is all just a test fit.
but the wiring you see is about all i will have under the hood besides the spray/fuel system, and my minni battery. it should look pretty slick!!!

Good idea IMO, the big one in the back is heavier, more wire, stupid switch to worry about, all that nonsense, alot of which you have experienced first hand. I'm gonna do a lightweight battery this year... keep it in stock location, and enver have to go thru all that shutoff and battery box headache.

Coo.. wanna make another hold down? What are you guys using for an overflow.. would it work on the street? I know there's weight to be saved there by doing that.. and I think that getting weight otu of my car at this point is going to be very beneficial... I think you probably tend to agree.

cool man. I'll paint it black to match the battery, and the stock battery tray I'll most likly mount it on. What are you using for a radiator overflow? Does it work like teh stock one, be o.k. on the street, or is there issues running around with it for any amount of time? I know you have the big radiator on your car, but what about boris.. he's still on teh stock radiator right? Any issues with his car? I need weight loss LOL.

Car looks awesome. Did you just strip the whole front engine harness area? Cause I'm wondering how you can get rid of all that wiring, or if you just moved it out of the engine bay area. And HOW you moved it. I LOVE the coil location too. God I need warmer weather to start working on this thing

thanks.
i pulled every single factory wire out of the car, and threw it out. i lost about 120 pounds.
i bought a painless, and i cut 99% of that apart so im only left with what i need to run the motor. i mounted the computer in the car as well as the coil packs, so under the hood will look very clean. once everything is mocked up, i will take it all back down, and im painting under the hood so it looks even better!

lights, windows, brakelights, blinkers will be run with a home made wiring harness we are working on now.

Now you are talking Brad... that's the way to do it. If you need a hand with the wiring, lemme know, I'm an electronics guy, doing wiring like that is easy compared to the crap I mess with all the time.

I guess everytime I talk to someone, that's the way they went with their car. so much cleaner and a good weight savings. Thanks a ton!
