Setting up for 5177 Questions
Setting up for 5177 Questions Ok as of now I have bolt ons and my car was tuned with a wideband. So timing is set around 30* and the a/f is 12.8-13.2. I want to run a 100 shot, so it looks like the 5177 kit looks good for what I'm doing. I have 26lb injectors, so 30lbers would be on the list rite? My only other question is, will I be ok with my current timing and a/f? If not what are my options to adjust them ? Predator? IAT tricker? more octane? Any ideas and comments appreciated.

first off I'm no expert but I would do the 30lb injectors and a new fuel pump.then have it tuned for the juice to be on the safe side.you can use the timing tricker also.
Your timing is probably a little high, and a/f should be richened for the spray (11.8 area for a 100 hit). If you get injectors tuning will need to be done, so get the timing set and a/f at this time. In my web site in links is a write up for pulling timing on the spray for dry hits. No need for a timing Tuner. Like was said, a fuel pump is probably a good idea also.
