Default A4 + stock rearend vs. 100 dry shot

how long will this set up last? iv'e allready blown my 2-4 clutch band and valve body on bolt ons only, had a brand new trans dealer installed under warranty, what will the juice do to my poor drivetrain now? how long have you guys had it last?

some guys ruin them stock and some guys run 10s with that combo.

I ran a similar combo 150 wet last summer...i got tired of worrying about it. I bought a 12 bolt...I probably over maintain the transmission and rear...not to mention oil. Six months is about as long as i'll go on rear or transmission fluid...it's just not that big a deal to change either IMHO. My next worry is the transmission...I don't think there is a time table...maintain clean fluids and pay the best attention you can to whirrs and whines...

a new rear end will run you 200 bucks, i say go all the way, and if it goes, its a small fix

200!! Man id just put that money towards a 12bolt and not worry about a next time.

I run 10's in a full weight car with a 10 bolt... no problems...

Get a WS to stay away from spraying through your shifts, that'll help the tranny.
