on the shifter (under the boot) you have a switch that when not touched, activates a reverse relay correct? how do you mount up a switch to shut that system off and the switch light up when the system is on/armed?
speaking to the search champ, now will the switch light stay on when the system is armed but not active? thats what i'm looking for
i know you can run a reverse relay to rigger the nitrous (like with harlans box)
No need to run a reverse relay at all, just put the "lock out" switch inline with the wot switch, but use the NC contact instead of NO. And if you wire it like a conventional nitrous system (switched 12v to master arm illuminated switch to lock out switch (NC) to wot switch (NO) to Relay coil.)
I have my 1st stage activated in 1st gear, and my second stage uses the first gear lock out. So 1st stg comes on at 3000 in 1st gear, and 2nd stg comes on at 4100 in second gear and both stay on to 6500 trough full pull. Is this what your looking for? as wiring is a little different compared to a single stage.

the window switch will be the same (3,000rpm to 6900 rpm) but i do not want the direct port to hit in 1st gear, just the rest of the other gears. setting up a WOT switch on the gas pedal, the clutch pedal, and on the shifter with a switch to turn or kill each system (only want to run a single stage on the street for now)

Here's how I did it. I used 2-ws, both MSD. The second kit is wired up as per normal, with the shifter micro sw tapped into the second stg window sw yellow wire (switch in open, closes after shifter comes out of 1st gear). Then, I have the gound from both ws going to a seperate relay (this way you can use your single wot micro sw to activate both, with 1st stg coming on in first gear ans 2nd stage will only come on in second if first is engaged). Wired with, 1st stage MSD ground going to terminal 86, and 2nd stage ground going to terminal 30, then terminals 87 and 85 both got to direct ground at battery or frame. I also put a toggle on the red switched 12v wire going to 2nd stage MSD, this way you can chose to use 1st and second or just first stage. I hope this makes sense, if not ask away.
