Default Nitrous Controls

Where do people have their nitrous controls mounted? I've saw a clean setup with a 3 switch panel in the ashtray/change holder in front on the shifter.

The Ashtray mounts are usually called 'Jimmy-jam' switches. I'm sure a sponsor will be here quick!

Those ashtray mounts are quality pieces. I was thinking more in the cutout area right next to the cigarette lighter; below the HVAC controls.

The NX switch panel is designed to mount either where the ashtray is or in the small open area next to the lighter. It has switches for; arming of the system, bottle heater, purge, and bottle opener. You can get them from Nitrous Outlet.

I really like that panel but I didn't like the idea of having to open the console cover to purge and arm. It really is a pain with a stick car if you're driving and have to open that console. I have 3 NX switches mounted in the little cubby hole in front of the shifter. They fit really nice. I have a switch for arm, purge, and the heater.

Yeah I had the nx panel in front of the shifter before I got this panel. I liked it at first, but I just really liked that little space for my cell phone lol. Plus I like the switches to be hidden even though my bottles aren't.

smokey - it only took about an hour to install. But, I already had the panel in front of the shifter so all I had to do was extend the wires back to the console.

Thanks for the compliments!!
