Question how safe is a 50 shot????????????????????

hey guys i was wondering about some spray. i was looking at the harris speed works dry kit and i was wondering how safe a 50 shot would be?
i dont want to hurt the car and i dident know if i would need any other upgrades like fuel system and so on i run tr55 now. ive read that some of you guys run 200 shots and the car survives but just want to make shure.
thanks guys.

50 is very safe... You really dont need to upgrade anything really. Youd probably be safer running a 100 with upgraded fuel pump and injectors.

You could probrbaly run a 50 with no additional fuel at all and not hurt anything.

In all honesty putting a 50 shot on the car isn't even worth the money. Change the plugs, get your self a window switch and FPSS, and jet the thing for a 100, that would be a nice start. Otherwise, just take the money and get yourself a nice cam.

I couldnt even feel a 50 shot but a 100 shot I could feel.
I would do headers and a cam first IMO.

I agree with all of you. You can feel 100HP only. 50 hp is very low, like GM said, you could not even add fuel and its not an issue....LOL
If your gonna run a 50 shot buy the cheapest kit you can find! You will still have fun
Be warned.....Youll be at 100hp at no time......I think 100hp is the perfect amount. Ive never heard of anyone hurting thier engines with that amount....If your nervous about saftey, checkout the dynotune a/f switch....Will shut down the nitrous if your kit runs lean.....fully adjustable....

Cheers

Only problem with running a 50 shot is that it wont be enough, as soon as you hit the button, you will want more !

you wont hurt anything with a 50shot...but like allready stated, you'll want more after the first hit. Harris Speed Works kit would be great kit to start with. contact Matt@HSW with any questions....great customer service!

The 50 Dry shot is safer than getting dressed every morning . When you get your kit, try the 50 out, and usually you will want more realy quickly. Keep the jets handy.

lol 50 shot. When I first tested out my system last summer, I tested it with 75 jets. I had to physically get OUT of the car and feel the temperature of the nozzle because I didn't feel **** for power. For my 4th and 5th tests I said f- it and put the 150 jets in. Then I went to 175 and to 250. I'm back down to 175 again though (after cam was installed). Eight months later and I need more...

Ok so my point is like everyone else's. A 50 shot isn't worth it.

Not a sermon, just some advice.

That kinda sounds like the same thing that happens when guys put in an aftermarket stall converter. They usually go smaller and then wish they had gone higher.

50 would be good ifyou are just trying to edge out another car.. adn you have it all hidden... noone would even be able to hear that coming on, probably the same goes for a 75. I know it's really light, but I guess it all depends on what you want to accomplish. A frienf of mine has a stalled a4 car with 3.73' and mac headers, his car runs 12.4 on motor, and 1.6 on a 100 shot for comparison. If a ferw tenth's is all you wan, then 50 will probably get you that, never hurt anything, and like stated above, you won't even know it's there.. but neither will anyone else.
