Nitrous cutting in and out, Could it be a plug is gapped to wide?

Nitrous cutting in and out, Could it be a plug is gapped to wide? just as the title says- i replaced 5 of my plugs with TR6's gapped @ .040 and i have an old R42LTS still in the 3 cylinder gapped @ .060 that im gonna replace today- do you guys think that will be it

Like Frans said, dont run different plugs with different gaps.
After you change them, try it again.
When the spark gets blown out it feels like the motor is skipping, ususally only at high RPMs then when you shift it usually goes away until the RPMs climb again.
If you think that is what is happening, try to close the gap by .005 and try it again. For your reference, on my small block I have to gap them at .022".
