Default nitrous results are in

got the car worked on at Rev Xtreme in tampa, they did a great job. heres the dyno, there are a few N/A pulls, a pull in the middle with a 41 jet ( 70 shot i think) and the top 2 are 100 shots. pretty good results i thaught, its a blast and a half to drive.

what ya think?

Great numbers with a 100 shot. Huge torque. You should get a pump and bump up to 150 shot.. its only a matter of time.

i will probably need injectors also,so i might just put in a 125 jet and a splash of 103 or something and call it good for a few months.

thanks

I wouldnt go any higher than 11.5 a/f because the a/f changes with air temp .

Do youself a favor and install a PLX wideband for 250 bucks so you can see EXACTLY what the car is burnin .

Not really sure that he is all that lean. Those AF numbers are at that particular rpm early in the pull, fattens up later during the pull. From 4800 rpm he is not over 13 to 1, mostly in 12 to 12.7 range.

It might be considered to be on the lean side, but looks like it goes into the 12's on down the RPM road.

Certain gas's burn hotter than others so the typical 13.0 is not the perfect a/f for the engine once you start adding things to it , weither its boost or nitrous .

When you throw some hot *** burning race gas in with nitrous or boost you can melt a motor at 12.0 .

The problem with dry kit is , you cant physicaly adjust your a/f in the hot summer or cold *** winter .
So at mid summer you will run pig rich and in the winter you run dangerously lean , asuming the car was setup on a 75-80 degree day .

Your going to need a pump for sure and you will have to get bigger injectors .

If someone tells you you can spray a 150 shot dry , you might want to talk to some different ppl before they help you torch your motor .

Injectors are no more $$ than a conversion to a wet kit. Pump wet or dry. You can spray a 150 dry for sure. Obviously, you have not been following to many posts around here on the merits of dry kits on the lsx platform, with many doing well over 200rwhp shots. Jeeeez, it never stops amazing me on the lack of knowledge concerning dry hits, or is it just bandwagoning from the old days.
Oh, by hte way, who has torched their motor running a dry hit? likely it'll be far and few between, if you find any at all.
Robert
