The best A/F is dependant on two things. 1) What A/F does the car run best at? and 2) What A/F are you comfortable running the car at?

A combination of those two things will be the best A/F for you particular car. Generally we try to tune car's to 11.8-12.0:1 on nitrous. However, some everyone has different thoughts on what works best and some people are more comfortable with running a car richer and leaving a little on the table as far as power goes.

You gave up some power by going to 11.9, but it is far more safe to run at that a/f than to run at 14.1. Plus you can always compensate for that drop in power by adding more nitrous.
