Mike, unfortunately I dont think too many ppl on here are qualified to answer that question. Whats best for you and them are different, and the mods, and what your end goals are will effect the grind. Have you contacted Comp Cams, Futral, or other cam grinders for help? I personally would find someone like Ed Curtis, EDC on here, that requests you to fill out a very in-depth cam request sheet, so the grinder can have ALL available data to make the best possible grind with. Just saying a 12.5 402 is not enough. gears, tires, trans, weight, intake, exhaust, and so much more go into this.
By comparison, I have a 347 11.6:1 compression, A3 4k stall, 3.50 geared 9", probably around 3350lbs not sure, 1 7/8" headers, and catback...for a 300 shot, Ed ground my cam to be 231/242 .637"/.622" 114*lsa with planned AFR 225 heads. Now I went with ETP 11* heads in a 225cc runner, now I could get away with even more cam with the 11* valve arrangements...oh well. No, I havent made a full pass on anything over 130+/- shot yet.
Good luck.
