Exclamation Nitrous Pressure gauge and DynoTune heater problem??

Recently installed a nitrous kit on my 97 rs (i know this is a ls1 forum, but hope you can still help)

Got the bottle filled on saturday before a show and I have an in-line pressure gauge, and it reads 0psi...

and the dynotune heater wont work either...its the pressure regulated type, and i checked all the connections, power and grounds....clueless...the switch lights up, i dunno why cause it worked last week when i installed it???

Took the hose off the nozzle, started the car and just pushed the WOT switch and it worked great, and the purge too, so it works and has pressure, just the pressure gauge and heater i guess??

any ideas??

Here is a pic of when i was installing it

In line like that I believe the bottle valve needs to be open for it to read pressure. Gauge reads 0 with the valve open?

Did you set the pressure switch for the heater per the instructions to 950 psi (IIRC)? There is a set screw in the back, make sure you have it set to what you want. Re-check your wiring, and make sure the relay and pressure switch is wired right with good grounds. Have you blown the fuse?

Per the instructions, make sure your bottle valve is open when using the heater, else the heater will stay on and likely you will pop off your rupture disc and lose all your N2O...

Finally got around to checkin this thing out....

The in-line pressure gauge still isnt working (yes the bottle is open) and i did try everything....its gotta be broken, but i didnt know it was that easy to break??

As for the bottle heater...the switch lights up like its on, but nothin happens.

I double checked all the wireing, grounds, and power....its got it all, but it will not heat up..

The instructions say to turn the allen wrench screw on the regulator clockwise till it clicks, and i did like a whole turn, and got no click....do i go more??? Plus having the gauge not working makes it hard to determine what that thing is reading ya know...

This just doesnt make sense because it worked the first time i turned it on, and now i get nothin.....so can someone tell me what is broken??

ok....got the pressure gauge to work, and its an in-line gauge.

I just took it apart and blew it out and cleaned it up....the guy before me used teflon paste, so i think a piece must have gotten into it. so it works great!!

As for the heater, ive been talking to a guy from dynotune and doing a few tests to make sure everything is working...so with his help, he said we will get this thing working great....ill let everyone know and thanks for the tips

Your all set with the heater correct...I think you got it working after you adjusted the screw for the pressure setting. IM us if you need more help
