Default Electric n20 pressure guages...

You like or dislike?

I currently have a guage in my dash, thats fed by a pressure line. I'm considering dumping it, and going with one of the small digital guages, with an electric sending unit.

Any disadvantages. I've polled a few friends , and I get a pretty even mix where one or the other is preffered. I*'d like to hear from a few of the sponsors, and hard core here.

I love my dynotune digital gauge. It's small, compact, easy to read, very accurate and I didn't have to run an extra line inside the car.

I use the dynotune. Seems to be pretty accurate. I mounted the display where the HVAC controls used to be.

I prefer the digital ones as compared to like an autometer analog gauge. My autmeter would always read to withing +/- 25 psi and seemed to be different everytime i plugged and unplugged the sensor. Seems the gauge mechanism was not too accurate. But I know the little senser that everyone uses (including autometer) is an accurate piece. I used the same one with my FJO maximizer and it was probably accurate down to +/- 3 psi and much more steady. So the digital gauges eliminate one of two possible sources of error (gauge & sensor). I would go dynotune or some other digital gauge myself.

I currently have an FJO digital and like it much better than the autometer.

I really don't care for my Autometer. It reads atleast 50 psi lower than the gauge on the bottle. Will probrably go with a Dynotune if I ever replace it.

So, mechanical gauges like the Autometer Phantom arent accurate? Thats what I have installed on my hood and it reads the inline pressure flowing to the nitrous solenoid from the bottle. The restrictor fitting is installed there too.

they are "fairly" accurate....but you get a beatter reading as the bottle is being heated by "tapping" the gauge...lol. That should tell you something.

We prefer the digital. Yes we may be biased a bit
But from running nitrous we were not happy with gauges that told you the pressure within 50 - 75 PSI. We wanted to know our pressure! Our Dynotune gauge is accurate to within 1 PSI!
