I motor purged when I was wet behind the ears, now on the dry side of life, sometimes I do, sometimes I just run it and use the NonPurged delay to assist in traction (not that its long enough delay ).

would purging onto the radiator and trans cooler moderately help with the cooling factor for a short period of time? I mean if you purge in the engine bay why not try to benefit from it?

i guess theoritically, it would work but the gains wouldnt be noticeable. i would more be worried about losing too much pressure while you are purging. i just hit mine 2 or 3 times just till you see it come out and then it is ready to go. i do agree that some people think that it is only for the show, but some people understand that it really does have a purpose.
