cutting out while spraying
So i finally got my bottle filled and did a few 2nd through 4th gear roll's with the N2o. The car will cut-out while pulling through the RPM's. It almost feels like the Nitrous is turning on and off. When i first got it installed there was a little left in the bottle like 850-900psi and it felt like it was hitting harder then and it didnt cut out at all. I am not sure what its doing and dont want to **** it up so let me know what u guys think. I havent upgraded to the TR6 plugs yet. Just has the TR55's in it. Could that be the problem?

BTW, its a TNT F1 kit jetted to 150shot. And i am running a Window switch and a WOT switch. Also have the Racetronix fuel system.

Plugs could be a pretty big issue, I would suggest running a colder plug. How many pounds of N2O are left in the bottle? Sounds like it may be empty?

It very well could be a combo of the plugs you are using and their gap. You could also have a bad electrical connection. I’d try the plugs first, especially if you are spraying a 150 shot on the factory heat range plugs.

I would check your wiring. A bad ground could do the same. That sounds just like the problem I had except mine was the FPSS. Since you don't have one I would change over to the TR6s and then check the wiring if it still happens

Blaze, find an accurate scale, weigh your bottle empty, 10# should be around 24 lbs give or take, but you will want to know exactly what it is. Then weigh it after the fill, right there in the shop thats filling it using their scale. I had got a "full" bottle before that cut it up like that, come to find out, there was only about 3lbs of nitrous in the bottle. Since then, I weigh it.
Next, plugs, change them. Dont mess around with 150shot and TR-55's especially if they arent regapped to a close range, like .035" on those plugs. Get a set of TR-6 gap em at .038" and drive on knowing the plugs are good.

I will do that. The bottle did feel a good bit heavier then it did before the fill. But it could still be the problem. When the bottle is first filled and is cold what will the PSI usually be at. Definately goin to get the plugs before i spray it again.

pressure depends on temp as well as amount of fill to some extent. cold bottles lower pressure. usually bottles get warm when filled. If it was a new bottle, you should have taken the valve out to make sure the bottle is clean inside, debris will also make you cut in and out, but TNT includes a large filter correct? if so, make sure when you empty the bottle, and check the siphon tube make sure its clean inside. and check the filter, you should easily be able to blow through it.
