Default Spraying 100 shot on 110k engine?

I've got a 110k mile engine with cam and bolt ons. Makes right around 385rwhp and 370rwtq. I'm trying to debate on whether to buy a kit and spray 100 shot. I really want this engine to last awhile and the power isn't really necassary as I don't race it often. I just am wondering the effects it will take on my engine over time. Will I need new injectors? I know I need to get a new fuel pump as mine is about to go i think. I need to do a compression test to see where the engine stands, but I'm just wondering how much this will affect the life of my engine being as it has fairly high mileage.

Well that's what I needed to hear since that's how it would be with mine. 28lbr's and a walbro. We'll see how things pan out. I'm not quite sure if I want to spend 500 for the nitrous and pump and all accesorries.

Wet kit doesnt bother injectors at all. As long as your tune it good, and you got the fuel pump (since you think yours is dying), new plugs etc, you should be fine. Not sure on cleaning the carbon out of the intake, but it will blow the **** off the tops of the pistons, that much I can say with confidence. GL

I've had a wet setup w/ a second stage dry, probably sent 15-20 bottle through the motor since 90k miles. The 28lb'ers held fuel up to about 520rwhp before too much duty-cycle on the dry shot. I'll have to look at what timing and A/F are. As long as you dont spin it too high, put enough fuel to it and back off some timing it should hold together for a long while. I've looked at bearings and they seem to be fine. Its all about tuning and getting lucky with the rod bolts

I don't spin past 6,000rpms usually. Maybe once a month I'll hit 6500 once, if that.

Very True, and ive heard many others stories like "dirt tracks".

Its not the mileage on the motor, but the condition of the internal parts.

Just because a car has 40K miles, doesnt mean its tougher than a 100K car.
