Default Carb plate for Dry shot?

I have a few old spray bar plates in the shed and I was thinking about mounting one under the lid instead of using a standard dry nozzle....

I figure I'd get a better atomization and won't have to worry much about killing the MAF with a direct shot....

Has anyone done this before?

It sounds like a great idea, Just make sure you dont point them down at the air filter or you may have trouble with condensation iceing the filter off. post up some pics if you try it

I was thinking about chopping the actual plate and just using the tube....

I figure I could zip tie it under the lid or sumthin....

I knew what you had in mind. I was pointing out the the direction the openings that the tube face may have an impact on the performance.

Kind of like a home built Halo, in a rather crude way.

I would double check the bars to make sure they are the same. Some plates wil use the same bars for nitrous and fuel. And others will use a 45 degree for the nitrous and a 180 for the fuel.
