Default My C-5 Ashtray Panel Update

Getting closer to the final version.

This is what I was going to go with, and then mount the opener switch under the arm rest.

I got a NX Bottle opener switch and did a test panel.

I may go with the bottom one, move the line lock to the cigerette lighter hole, to free up some space. The NX opener switch is Very Trick!

Those look great man. If I had a Vette then I'd definately buy one from you. Go with the bottom one.

Very nice. Might copy for myself. My ashtray switch panel looks pretty crappy compared to yours
I prefer a rocker switch on the line lock rather than a pushbutton since I like to shift to 2nd (A3) to really light 'em up.

Beer, I like the top one better, less clutered looking in my opinion. Can you post a pic of the Z06 sw panel you made for me? I will still get some pics once it's installed. Thanks again.

Here's Roberts panel, like the one I was going to use, but with a ZO6 logo instead of the C-5 Logo.

Was wide awake at 2AM and went out to the garage...

Beer makes some great stuff... I was over at his place yesterday and saw them up close... All I can say is, WOW!!! Very good work...

BTW, Beer is starting to get into F-Body switch panels, so for you F-Body guys that want the switch panels, shoot him a PM with where you want the panel to go and I can run mine over to his place to get the measurements from my car, the possibilities are endless... I should have pics of a prototype from him this weekend...

Again, great work beer...

Not sure what A3 your running, but FWIW, I know Rossler highly recommends doing the burnout in 2d gear, not using 1st at on my Terminator II TH350. I dont have any issues doing it that way either, lock it, smokem, unlock and roll out.

Beer, great looking switches, and I appreciate the drawing you did for my setup. I hopefully will start back on it sometime this month, with the newborn time is a litte divided currently.

Done...its over
Here is the final panel I am using

The Line Lock took up to much real estate, So I removed the cigarette lighter and used that hole for the Line Lock. I did have to cut the back of the console for all the wires, but that is hidden by the ashtray with the panel out.

Line Lock needs plumbing, but its in and wired.

LC-1 Install, Line Lock Plumbing, HSW hoses and dry nozzles going in, and I am done. That will be Mid June...been planning and working on this since November 05 LOL.
